Ho Chi Minh City tightens 5 advanced solutions for epidemic prevention and control from August 23 at 12am
On August 20, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) organized a press conference to announce the epidemic situation in the city. According to Mr. Hai, HCMC has made a lot of efforts and achieved some certain results in COVID-19 prevention work. However, the development of the epidemic is still complicated and unpredictable.

Therefore, the city will continue to enhance and tighten the anti-epidemic effects these 5 solutions below:
- The residents must ensure to follow the social-distancing regulation, isolate house from house, residential group from residential group,…
- Concentrate on caring for F0 patients, treating patients with severe symptoms to limit mortality.
- Continue to collect samples for Covid-19 testing of residents in “HCMC’s red area”.
- Promote vaccination for residents
- HCMC ensures to supply enough essential goods, and continues to fully, rapidly and promptly take care of disadvantaged and vulnerable people in residential areas.
