Procedure

Eligibility

Faculties may have specific eligibility requirements related to the applicant’s major, coursework, degrees, or academic performance. These limitations will be listed on the faculty website. TDTU is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in education and employment.

Requirements

To be admitted as a regular graduate student, an applicant must have earned a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a college, university, or technical school of acceptable standing. Students in their final year of undergraduate study may be admitted on the condition that their bachelor’s degree is awarded before they enroll at TDTU.

The application process can vary significantly between faculties, but in general the following list of application requirements holds true:

A. Application requirement's documents for master's program:

  1. Application Form (Submit online)

  2. Curriculum Vitae

  3. Copy of original bachelor transcript in right applied major

  4. Copy of original bachelor certificate in right applied major

  5. Statement of purpose (500 words)

  6. English Language Proficiency: TOEIC 600, TOEFL iBT 50, IELTS 5.5, PET/FCE 160 (English certificate’s results must be valid throughout the application period) or Proof of bachelor program taught in English language

  7. Criminal record

  8. Copy of Passport

  9. Photograph (3x4 cm)

  10. Health check report from the official clinic or hospital within the last 6 months

  11. Bank guarantee (have at least $2500 with applicant's name as account owner)

B. Application requirement's documents for doctoral program:

  1. Application Form (Submit online)

  2. Curriculum Vitae

  3. Copy of original bachelor transcript in right applied major

  4. Copy of original bachelor certificate in right applied major

  5. Copy of original master transcript in right applied major

  6. Copy of original master certificate in right applied major

  7. Research publications (all files of published papers)

  8. Statement of purpose (500 words)

  9. English Language Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 60, IELTS 6.0, PET/FCE 169 (English certificate’s results must be valid throughout the application period) or Proof of bachelor/master program taught in English language

  10. Two Reference Letters (at least 01 letter of master thesis’s advisor)

  11. Criminal record

  12. Copy of Passport

  13. Photograph (3x4 cm)

  14. Health check report from the official clinic or hospital within the last 6 months

  15. Bank guarantee (have at least $2500 with applicant's name as account owner)

Review

Applicants are evaluated by the individual faculty in which they intend to register on the basis of their prior performance and professional promise, as evidenced by their academic records, letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with their capabilities, and any other pertinent information they submit. Admission notifications are communicated directly by the School of Graduate Studies usually in the form of email or through the online application portal.
