VIETNAM - GREAT EFFORTS TO COPE WITH THE SECOND COVID-19 WAVE!

Recently, Vietnam is facing the second outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic when too many cases of Covid-19 community transmission were confirmed in Da Nang and nearby Quang Ngai Province on 26 July 2020, which takes the country’s total to 420 and the number of positive cases to Covid-19 up to 55. Until today, the total number of nationwide infections has reached 509 in less than a week. However, not only the Vietnamese Government but also local authorities have immediately taken action to deal with the second outbreak of the pandemic. Currently, Danang City has been lockdowned, all activities which gather crowded people have been prohibited. Hanoi Capital as well as Ho Chi Minh City are aggressively zoning infected areas and implementing isolation. Furthermore, Ho Chi Minh City's Government has officially announced to stop gathering more than 30 people in public areas from 00h00 a.m July 31st, 2020, and required people to strictly wear masks in public places, implement measures to prevent the pandemic.
Because of the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic, TDTU would like to notify all of the Vietnamese students, international students, researchers, lecturers, and staffs as followings:
- Make medical declaration on the online declaration portal: https://tokhaiyte.vn
- For international students: strictly follow the regulations of the dormitory on the declaration of travel information.
- Strictly follow the directive of the Ministry of Health on disease prevention: not to gather more than 30 people; must wear masks in public places; keep social distance 2 meters when communicating; wash hands or use disinfectant water after going out.
We should actively follow the Recommendations of the Ministry of Health for the prevention of Covid-19 pandemic.
