URAP uses data about all universities listed by Web of Science to make rankings. The criteria of quantity, quality of scientific publications, citation index and scientific impacts, etc. account for the largest weight in the assessment process.

This ranking system uses neither data provided by universities nor the results of experts’ voting. These things make the ranking results become absolutely objective.

In the URAP world rankings in 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is ranked No. 1 in Vietnam and 960 in the world.

In the 2018-2019 ranking period, TDTU was ranked 2nd in Vietnam and 1422nd in the world. After just one year, TDTU has surpassed the leading group of Vietnamese universities and increased 462 places to be ranked at 960 in the world.

TDTU has been ranked No.1 in Vietnam and Top 1000 universities in the world by ARWU. It is also placed in the Top 200 of the world's most sustainable universities by THE University Impact Rankings. QS Asia University Rankings ranked TDTU in the 207th place out of the 500 best universities in Asia in 2019. Being ranked by all current world university rankings proves the rapid and solid growth of TDTU.
