Signing a cooperation agreement with Sailun Vietnam Company Limited
On October 13th, 2020, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed a cooperation agreement with Sailun Vietnam Co., Ltd.
Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Sailun Vietnam Company, there was Mr. Tian Ke Xu, Deputy Director of Human Resources; Mr. Tran Thong Thai, Director of Safety and Environment; Mr. Tran Thanh Tuoi, Senior Recruitment Specialist; and Ms. Truong Nguyen Quynh Nhu, Specialist of Human Resources Department.
Representing TDTU, there was Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Director of Center for Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni; Dr. Nguyen Thi Mai Linh, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety; Dr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Vice Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages; and Dr. Nguyen Quang Khuyen, Head Lecturer of Organic Materials major, Faculty of Applied Sciences.
According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out cooperative activities such as research cooperation and technology transfer; organizing tours, internships, career apprenticeships, career orientation, and skills development for TDTU students; and preserving the priority in recruiting TDTU students.
Moreover, Sailun Vietnam Company Limited will simultaneously join hands in TDTU's Learning Fund, sponsor academic competitions, skill training courses, and seminars through “Sailun Scholarship”. During the signing ceremony, both sides also exchanged and extended mutual cooperative activities on research and recruitment in order to maximize the potentials and strengths of each side.
Sailun Vietnam Co., Ltd. is the largest tire manufacturer in Vietnam, belonging to the Sailun Group, whose headquarter is based in Qingdao, China. The company's products are mainly exported to high-end markets such as Europe, America, etc.
