3.1

Implementing Thesis 

- Students continue implementing the thesis based on the approved proposal, follow the instruction of the advisor, and ensure to finish  the thesis in time

   Extension:
- Students must submit the Extension Request Form to the faculty approved and signed by the advisor;
- Master’s Thesis Record must be sent to the Faculties/Institutes;
- The extension of the Master’s Thesis is within 03 months;
- The Extension Request Form must be submitted at least 30 days before the submission deadline of the Master’s Thesis.

Requirements to defend the Master’s Thesis:

- Complete all courses for the curriculum with the course's average point (CGPA) >=5.0 and final score >=3.1; 

- Complete all courses with CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) >=5.5 (on a scale 10); 

- Meet the required  English proficiency outcome ; (Post-check planning of 2020; Request for Verifying English Certificate)

- Philosophy certificate must be qualified;

- Plagiarism checked approved;

- Must be approved by the advisor to defend the Master’s Thesis at Committee

- Master’s Thesis must follow the guidance of the thesis's presentation

- Participated in the scientific seminar “Scientific citation” at least 1 time;

- Completed paying tuition fees.

Master’s Thesis Defense forms:

- Request for Master’s Thesis Defense form (with a verified signature from the advisor);
-
Feedback of advisor form;

- 05 hard copy of the completed version of Master’s Thesis with the accepted format;
- Copies of the scientific article published in the scientific journal (if any);
- 01 Scientific Curriculum vitae with confirmation from working office or local office, stamp-over photo;
- 01 copy version of Bachelor’s degree;
- 01 copy version of the  Bachelor's transcript;
- 01 copy version of Philosophy certificate;
- 01 copy version of English certificate;
- 01 official version of post-graduate transcript;
- 02 pieces of photos with size 3x4.

Master’s Thesis Defense:

- Successfully defend: Revise Master’s Thesis based on Committee's comments within 30 days upon the defending day;
- Unsuccessfully defend (GPA below 5,5): Revise Master’s Thesis based on Committee's comments within 90 days and re-defend at the Committee (Students must pay the fee for the 2nd  defense);
-If the students continue to fail to defend the Master’s Thesis for the second time, students must redo the Master’s Thesis and pay the tuition fees for re-assigning the master thesis (according to the master thesis regulations of TDTU).
