Ph.D. Candidates Successfully Defended Their University-Level Doctoral Dissertations in Accounting

On October 22, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) hosted the evaluation of the university-level doctoral dissertation for Ph.D. candidate Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong (Candidate ID: 201903001), in Accounting (Major code: 9340301).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong enrolled in 2020. Title of the doctoral dissertation: “Cấu trúc vốn, Quyền lực nhà quản lý và Tài chính bền vững của doanh nghiệp: Bằng chứng tại Việt Nam - Capital Structure, CEO Power and Firm Financial Sustainability: Evidence from Vietnam” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irene Wei Kiong Ting (TDTU) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi My Hanh (TDTU).

The doctoral dissertation of the Ph.D. candidate was approved by the members of the University-Level Doctoral Dissertation Examining Committee with a total of 07/07 votes.
Speaking after defending the dissertation, the Ph.D. candidate expressed her deep gratitude to her supervisors, the Presidential Board, the Faculty of Accounting, and the Department of Graduate Studies for their support during her study and research at the University.
