PhD candidate Dao Huy Tuan successfully defended his dissertation at the training institution level

On November 30, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held an evaluation of the dissertation for PhD candidate Dao Huy Tuan, (ID: 202917002) in Electrical Engineering (Major code: 9520201).

He is the fourth PhD candidate majored in Electrical Engineering to successfully defend his dissertation at the training institution level with the topic “Điều khiển tần số trong nhà máy nhiệt điện tuabin hơi hồi nhiệt và không hồi nhiệt - Load frequency control in thermal power plant with reheat and non-reheat steam turbine” under the guidance of Dr. Vo Hoang Duy (TDTU) and Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan (TDTU).

Mr. Dao Huy Tuan enrolled in 2021, and has completed the workload as follows:  

  • Completion of doctoral modules: 12 credits
  • Research proposal: 04 credits (7.0/10.0)
  • Research topic 1: 03 credits (7.0/10.0)
  • Research topic 2: 03 credits (7.5/10.0)
  • 02 articles published in WoS indexed journals.
  • Completed the defense of doctoral thesis at the management units
  • Complete the independent dissertation examination.

The doctoral thesis of PhD candidate Dao Huy Tuan was approved by the members of dissertation examination council of a training institution with a total of 07/07 votes.
Speaking after defending his thesis, PhD candidate expressed his deep gratitude to his instructors, the Presidential Board, the Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and the Department of Graduate Studies for supporting the students during their study and research at the University.
