National Doctoral Program

TDTU provides various Doctoral programs:

Duration: 36 – 48 months

Graduation Requirements:

  1. Completed a minimum of 18 compulsory and optional credits;

  2. Completed dissertation proposal (04 credits);

  3. Successfully completed and defended Doctoral dissertation;

  4. Published as the main author at least 02 ISI papers in the field of Science and Engineering; 01 ISI paper or 02 Scopus papers in the field of Social – Economic – Finance - Business.

Application Requirement's documents:

  2. Curriculum Vitae

  3. Original copy of bachelor transcript in right applied major

  4. Original copy of bachelor certificate in right applied major

  5. Original copy of the master transcript in right applied major

  6. Original copy of the master certificate in right applied major

  7. Research publications (all files of published papers)

  8. Statement of purpose (500 words)

  9. Two Reference Letters (at least 01 letter of master thesis’s advisor)

  10. Criminal record

  11. Copy of Passport

  12. Photograph (3x4 cm)

  13. Health check report from the official clinic or hospital within the last 6 months

  14. English Language Proficiency:

  • For foreign applicants apply for scholarship: TOEFL iBT 60, IELTS 6.0, PET/FCE 169 (English certificates must be valid for two years from your test date up to the application date) or Proof of bachelor/master program taught in English language.
  • For Vietnamese applicants and foreign students apply without scholarship: TOEFL iBT 45, IELTS 5.0, PET/FCE 160 (English certificates must be valid for two years from your test date up to the application date) or Proof of bachelor/master program taught in English language.
